DEO Rebuild FL Critical Facility Hardening Program

Environmental Utilities Grant

City of St. Cloud

Notice is hereby given that the City of St. Cloud is offering citizens the opportunity to make comments on the proposed grant application for Rebuild Florida Critical Facility Funding Program competitive solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block (CDBG) to address unmet infrastructure needs related to protection of critical facilities.  The project will consist of mitigation activities at the St. Cloud Water Treatment Facility at 5701 Michigan Ave., St. Cloud, FL 34772.  These activities include the hardening of the facility to provide uninterrupted service during an emergency.  The City is requesting $399,000.00. The program does not require matching funds from the City.


The comment period begins on Friday, June 5, 2020 and ends on Saturday June 20, 2020. All comments must be submitted to jamie.demelo@stcloud.org and must be received no later than close of business on June 20, 2020 to be included with the application package submitted to the State of Florida.

Police Department Grant

The program does not require matching funds from the City.


The comment period begins on Friday, June 5, 2020 and ends on Saturday June 20, 2020. All comments must be submitted to jamie.demelo@stcloud.org and must be received no later than close of business on June 20, 2020 to be included with the application package submitted to the State of Florida.


Illinois Avenue Slip Lining Project


City of St. Cloud

Notice is hereby given that the City of St Cloud is offering citizens the opportunity to make comments on the proposed grant application CDBG-DR competitive solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block (CDBG) to address unmet infrastructure needs related to improvements deemed necessary after Hurricane Irma.  The project will consist of mitigation activities to the City of St/ Cloud’s downtown stormwater at Massachusetts and Delaware Avenues.  These activities include the replacement and installation of storm water pipes to provide uninterrupted service during an emergency.  The City is requesting $1,848,000. The program does not require matching funds from the City.
