Approval of Minutes  March 14, 2012

 

Mr. Paulson provided a motion to approve the minutes for March 14, 2012. Mr. Balser provided the second to the motion. The vote was 5-0 with all members voting ?aye?.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS:

 

A.  Case # 12-00.02; Kids Kastle

John and Deomattie Persaud, property owner  

                                                        

Request: The applicant is requesting a ten foot setback variance for a fence on the side and rear yard, pursuant to Section 3.20.2 C. (2) of the Land Development Code.

     

      Location: 813 10th Street

 

      Ms. Orton presented the case and provided a brief summary of the variance

     

      Mr. Paulsen provided a motion to recommend approval of the variance. Mr. Clifton provided the                       second to the motion. The vote was 5-0 with all members voting ?aye?.

 

B.   Case # 12-00.03; Fire Station # 32

      City of St. Cloud, property owner

 

      Request: Applicant is requesting a variance from the 15 foot side-yard setback and 25 foot rear-yard setback requirements for the Professional zoning district as identified in Table III-6 of the St. Cloud Land Development Code. The variance will allow encroachments into the side and rear-yard setbacks resulting in a side-yard setback of 13 feet and a rear-yard setback of 15 feet.

 

      Location: 3450 Old Canoe Creek Road

 

      Ms. Giannuzzi presented the case and provided a brief summary of the variance

 

      John Moody, representative on behalf of Osceola Engineering.

     

      Mr. Balser provided a motion to recommend approval of the variance. Mr Welty provided the second to            the motion. The vote was 5-0 with all members voting ?aye?.

       

ADJOURNMENT:  6:24 PM
