St. Cloud, Fla. (April 11, 2019) – The City of St. Cloud is now a direct recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As a direct recipient, the city must now prepare a Five-Year Consolidated Plan, an Annual Action Plan and an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. These documents become the road map for the expenditure of the funds over the next five years, and more specifically, the projects to be undertaken annually.
As part of the planning process, the city is asking residents to take part in a survey, before May 31, 2019. The survey will help identify needs in the community, provide ideas on how residents would like to see the CDBG Program funds spent and fair housing concerns. Please take a few minutes and complete this confidential questionnaire to the best of your ability. If you are unsure of an answer, or the question does not apply to you, please feel free to skip that question. For more information, contact the Planning and Zoning Department.
