The City of St. cloud offers curbside recycling. Participation is the key to a successful recycling program. The city supports single-stream recycling because of the convenience it allows residents. The blue carts allow convenient co-mingling of recyclable paper, plastics, metal, and glass in one cart. No sorting means everyone can easily do their part. 
                    
  
The Following clean items ARE to be recycled:

Glass jars & bottles 
Aluminum cans 
Tin, Steel or aerosol cans 
Plastic bottles 
Food boxes 
Paperback & phone books 
Junk mail 
cardboard (flatten all boxes)
Paper cardboard dairy and Juice Cartons 
Paper bags 
Office paper & file folders (without wax liners)      
Newspapers & inserts  
Gable top containers (milk & juice cartons)      

Th
e Following items are NOT to be recycled:
         
Plastic bags  
Bottle caps
 Styrofoam
Electronics
Hardback books
Ceramics or dishes
Food Waste
Plastic tubes, jars and trays
Motor oil containers
Household hazardous waste
Light bulbs, window glass, or mirrors
Yard waste or trash
Shredded paper  
Newspapers with plastic wrappers
Broken glass

In addition to single stream curbside pick-up, the City of St. Cloud has two    drop-off locations for recycling:
       
    10th Street and         Missouri Avenue    
open from dawn to dusk every day.
                  

    St. Cloud Transfer          Station   
 
  
open Monday through Friday 7AM to 4PM and Saturday 7AM to 12PM
