We currently have staff on duty for 16 hours a day, 7 days a week. When the plants are not staffed, the function of numerous critical operations are monitored using electronic sensing equipment and radio telemetry that can notify an on-call operator of after hours issues. As our utility grows, the ability to remotely monitor our extensive network of lift stations and plant equipment becomes even more critical. |

Beyond day-to-day operations, the treatment division is looking toward the future and has exciting plans to improve our current infrastructure and expand to accommodate the growth in our area. Some of these plans include the following: |
Ø Construction of a New Water Plant #4; |

Ø Refurbishment of Our Existing Water Plants; |
Ø Expansion of the Southside Wastewater Treatment Facility to Support Future Elimination of the Lakeshore Wastewater Treatment Facility; |

Ø Implementation of an Aggressive Preventative Maintenance Program to Ensure Longevity of Planned Improvements; and |
Ø Upgrade of the entire Lakeshore Sewer Collection System. |
