The CRA is one of the tools  that the City of St. Cloud can use to help fuel the city's growth and development.  Read through the information on these pages and learn more about how the CRA can be of assistance.  And, please give us a call if you have any questions at all.  Again, thanks for visiting!

Community Redevelopment Agency

The St. Cloud Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) was established May 26, 2005 with the signing of an Interlocal Agreement between the City and Osceola County.  It was established to address disinvestment issues, eliminate slum and blight conditions, and promote redevelopment for residential, commercial, and historic areas.  The CRA operates under FLorida Statutes Chapter 163, Part III and Chapter 189.  The CRA was established by the City through City Ordinance 2005-78.

The Agency encompasses an area of slightly over 700 acres, which represents 13% of the City's overall area and includes ~1,300 parcels.  The CRA is subdivided into 3 distinct districts, each with its own unique character and individually identified vision and goals:  Downtown, Central, and Gateway.

The members of the City Council serve as the CRA Board, setting the agency's goals and direction.
