Landlord/Rental Business
Landlord Responsibility
Being a landlord is a business and your rental property is considered a business location. Therefore, per St. Cloud City Code Sec. 40-162 in accordance with F.S. 205, a Business Tax Receipt must be obtained for each rental location.  The fee for a Local Business Tax Receipt for landlord is $35.16 for each parcel.  There is also a non-refundable application fee of $20, however you can include up to eight (8) property locations on one application and only pay one application fee.  If you add rental properties throughout the year you must submit an application, pay all applicable fees and obtain zoning approval for the new locations
